U.S. sanctions against Rosneft may influence the plans of its privatization. This was announced in an interview with the Russian Minister of Economic Development, Alexei Ulyukayev, who participated at the meeting of G20 at the level of Trade Ministers, held in Sydney.

"Of course, sanctions, imposed by the USA against Rosneft can affect the process of its privatization, - said Ulyukayev. - There are chances to privatize Rosneft as scheduled, but we can’t rule out that it may be delayed. We have direct understanding that we are ready to carry out the privatization in the case if the price is not worse than IPO price. Recently, the price wasn’t worse, but if something changes and the price doesn’t suit us, we won’t carry out the privatization".
