One of the Russian largest oil companies has purchased the brand-name of “Optan” filling stations chain. It is presented in 12 regions of Russia, inclusive of the South Urals.

The chain of 92 filling stations under the trademark “Optan” became under the ownership of “Bashneft”. The company received 11 land properties in 12 Russian regions together with the petrol stations.

“The presence in the regions of “Optan” is very convenient for “Bashneft” because of the closeness to the Ufa oil processing complex and the possibility for the optimization of expenditures into oil products supply,” they said in the oil company.

The deal is valued at 8.8 billion roubles. Bashneft controls 100% of “AZS-Saransk” LLC, 100% of “Ural” CJSC and “Helios” CJSC (own 37 filling stations under the trademark “Optan” and 4 sites of land).
