Gazprom and CNPC have closed contract for Russian gas supplies to China

Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) have closed the contract for Russian gas supplies to China, while the visit of the Russian President V. Putin to Beijing. The contract is closed for 30 years. It presupposes annual supplies of up to 38 billion cubic m. The chief of Gazprom A. Miller refuses to name the gas price for China explaining that with commercial confidentiality. He says that the sides presupposed in the contract the granting of beneficial tax modes for mineral tax.

Besides from the gas contract, they closed while the visit of Mr. Putin the contracts in the spheres of banking, telecommunications and machine building.
