The first hydraulic fracturing of formation was successfully carried out at the Novoport field. The works were carried out in Jurassic sediments, which are characterized by high geological complexity, the Gazpromneft’s press centre reported.
On the whole, 5 operations of the hydraulic fracturing of formation took place: single hydraulic fracturing in vertical wells and multi-stage in the horizontal well.
