Vladimir Putin divides the Sakhalin gas.
Supporting the Shell Sakhalin gas projects development plan, Vladimir Putin was on the side of "Gazprom" in its dispute with "Rosneft" for "Sakhalin - 1" gas. This may mean that "Gazprom" will get a chance to bring additional volumes of LNG into the market and "Rosneft"’s competing project is postponed beyond the horizon of 2020. However, last year "Rosneft" ignored a similar warning of Vladimir Putin.
