Severstal-Invest to provide Rosatom with rolled metal

 

The Severstal-Invest trading house dealing with rolled metal, metalware and pipes (Severstal Russian Steel) has won a tender for the delivery of rolled metal to the Rosatom state corporation.

 

 

The tender was led at electronic trading facility of the Auction competition house. During the tender Severstal-Invest proposed to the client the most suitable variant.

 

 

 

In accordance with the tender, the company will dispatch more than 500 tons of rolled metal to the consumer in February 2012. The rolled metal will be used for building of block #2 of Novovoronezh nuclear power station-2.

 

 

 

The first batch of rolled metal (140 tons) has already been dispatched to Rosatom (ZiO-Podolsk enterprise) in January 2012.

 

 

 

“We only start developing our sales via electronic trading facilities thus this order has become a significant event. The work on this ground will increase the amount of our consumers”, General Director of Severstal-Invest Sergey Sokolov says.

 

 

 

Besides, Severstal-Invest is going to expand its customer base and strengthen its positions at other sites. The company has already obtained accreditation at several state electronic trading facilities.
