The Russian and Ukrainian metal producers have raised the prices for rolled steel exports. One of the reasons of the growth is the analogical steps performed by their Turkish competitors, and the increase in prices for scrap metal. Square semi-finished items rose in price by $5-15 per ton since March 5, and reinforcement rose in price by $10. CIS reinforcement made in April and sold in May rose in price to $670-680 per ton FOB Black Sea. Square semi-finished items rose in price to $620 per ton FOB Black Sea.
