Yamal is becoming one of the world’s largest gas provinces. Chairman of the Board of Management of “Gazprom” A.Miller said about it at a telephone conference, dedicated to 20-years of OAO “Gazprom”. He has noted that a new gas production centre has been created in Yamal over the last 40 years. Last year there was put in operation Bovanenkovo deposit. There created gas sector in the East of the country. There operate production centers in Sakhalin and Kamchatka. “We have made technological breakthrough in the development of the unique gas supply system of Russia.
