In 2015, Raspadskaya increased coal production by 1% to 10.4 million tons

In the fourth quarter of 2015, the production of raw coal by Raspadskaya amounted to 2.5 million tons, which is by 6% less than in the third quarter of 2015. This was caused by remounting, associated with improvement of high-performance longwall face 5a 7-28 at the Raspadskaya mine in November 2015, the company reports. In the fourth quarter of 2015, the production of raw coal decreased by 24% as compared to the same period of the previous year.

In the fourth quarter of 2015, the volume of coal concentrate sale made up 1.4 million tons, which is by 18% less than in third quarter of 2015 due to decreased sales on the domestic market and the difficulties in the supply of coal to the Ukraine. At the same time, in the reporting period 65 thousand tons of coal concentrate of the premium brand K and 34 thousand tons of raw coal of the premium brand K were delivered to consumers, Raspadskaya reports.
