The Ukraine reduced gas reserves at underground storage facilities by 0.7% a day

The gas volume at the underground gas storage facilities of the Ukraine as of Jan 19th made up 10.011 bln cubic m. The volume fell by 0.7% within a day.

According to GSE, the level of loading of the underground storage facilities fell to 31.33% from 31.55% as of Jan 18th when there were 10.081 bln cubic m gas there.

From October 20th 2014 the Ukraine started to use the gas from the underground storage facilities due to the start of the heating season. The gas supplies from Russia, shut down from mid June due to the multi-billion debts of Kiev, renewed on December 9t only, after Gazprom received the advance payment for 1 bln cubic m.
