Oil production to go down to 15-20 mln tons by 2030 if no increase in geological exploration

The questions, concerning geological exploration, have been discussed during the TV programme “Professional talk” with the participation of the CEO of “Kazenergy” A.Magauov. Tengrinews.kz reports.
According to him, it is necessary to create an independent official entity, which will be responsible for a state management of the geological exploration (Agency of geology, for instance). As A.Magauov states the role of the Committee for Geology and Subsurface use is only to control technical documentations, while the questions of strategic development and the ones, regarding creation of conditions for geological exploration are secondary.
