Enterprises of SUEK produced 98.9 mln tons of coal in 2014

In 2014 the enterprises of a group of people “Siberian coal energy company” OJSC (SUEK OJSC) produced 98.9 mln tons of coal, +2% against 2013.

The sales volume in 2014 rose 3% against 2013 and made up 95.4 mln tons of coal. The volumes of international sales rose 8% and made up 45.6 mln tons of coal. The export of coal rose by 5% to 40.5 mln tons. The main directions of international sales are China, Great Britain, South Korea, Japan, the Netherlands, Taiwan and Germany. 49.8 mln tons of coal was sold to the Russian consumers, that is by 1% less than in 2013, 37.7 mln tons of which were shipped to the electric energy enterprises.

Almost a third of the total production volume of SUEK – 27 mln tons – was provided by the Krasnoyarsk enterprises of SUEK (branch SUEK-Krasnoyarsk JSC, “Borodinsky mine n.a. Schadov”, Mine Berezovsky JSC and Mine Nazarovsky JSC).
