In 2015, the Ukraine to allocate 340 million hryvnias for gas substitution

In 2015, over 340 million hryvnias will be allocated as a public co-financing for the implementation of mechanisms to support gas substitution.

This was stated by head of the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Conservation Sergei Savchuk at the meeting on implementation of mechanisms of state support in the field of energy efficiency in the form of the return of loans for non-gas boilers, purchased by the population, as well as of energy efficient equipment and materials, bought by co-owners of apartment blocks.

"This is funding from the European Union in the framework of financing of the Ukrainian Energy Strategy. With attraction of funds from banking institutions, the total investment in the energy efficiency of the housing sector may reach up to 1.9 billion hryvnias, "- said S. Savchuk.
