Open-pit coal mine to be put in operation in the Kemerovo region

Taibinsky coal strip mine in the Kemerovo region was put in operation on Friday.
“Invest-Uglesbyt” has invested 350 million roubles into eth construction and equipping of the enterprise within the period from 2007 to 2014. They said about it in the press-service of the regional administration.
The coal strip mine is located in Kiselevsk. The production capacity of the first stage of “Taibinskoye” will make up 1.8 million tons of coal a year and increase up to 3 million tons in future. “In accordance with the development concept the service life of the enterprise will make up 49 years,” they said in the press-service.
