Syria gives license for drilling on the country’s shelf to Soyuzneftegaz

Syria has given a license for drilling of wells on the country’s shelf to Soyuzneftegaz, the agency Bloomberg report, referring to Syrian television.
The agreement between the parties became a result of active negotiations, which have lasted for 5 months. In this period, specialists of Soyuzneftegaz visited Syria several times, the country’s Minister of Oil and Mineral Resources Suleiman al-Abbas notes.
