RF Ministry of Defense and Russian Federal Fisheries Agency block transfer of two offshore sites to Gazprom

The RF Ministry of Defense and the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency have blocked transfer of two offshore sites to Gazprom and the auction for sites in the transit sea area, in which Rosneft is interested, Rosnedra reports.
According to the Interfax, Gazprom was refused the right to develop the North-Zapadny site in the Barents and Pechora Seas because of the Ministry of Defense’s decision. Because of observations of the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency, the granting of license for the South-Obsky site in the Kara Sea to the company was suspended.
