Lukoil to become LNG exporter

Lukoil initiated the amendments to the LNG export liberalization law, two sources close to the developers of the draft law reported.
Currently the draft law gives Lukoil no chance to export LNG.
The company proposes to exclude the date limitations from the law. Currently the law presupposes that LNG export is available only to the companies which had “the licenses presupposing construction of an LNG plant” on January 1, 2013.
