Gazpromneft postpones start of production at Badra to 2014

Gazpromneft has postponed the start of production at the Iraqi field Badra to 2014 from December of 2013 because of logistics problems and instability in the country.
The company explains its decision with the procrastination of a number of necessary approvals, insufficient quantity of contractors, the non-fulfillment of obligations by the current contractors, as well as with some fears for staff safety and the preservation of property.
