Gazprom Neft will pay mineral tax for gas as independent producer . The State Duma Committee for Budget and Taxes has admitted such amendment to the law project, setting the formula for calculation of the mineral tax rate for natural tax extraction. On September 20, they’ll hold the second reading where the deputies agree with the Government to spread to Gazprom Neft the mode of independent gas producer. The Vice Minister of Finances S. Shatalov confirms that Gazprom Neft will pay as an independent producer. The new mineral tax formula will be applied from July 1 2014.
