The Prosecutor’s Office initiates the investigation round the letter of Bashneft and Lukoil

The Prosecutor’s Office of Russia confirms the fact of receiving of the letter from the chief of Bashneft A. Korsik and the President of Lukoil V. Alekperov. They ask to protect their joint venture Bashneft Polyus from a hostile raid. The letter is sent for organization of the investigation to the prosecutor’s office of the Nenets autonomous area and the prosecutor’s office the of Bashkortostan. Under the results of the investigation, the necessary measures will be taken if the grounds are found. If so, the claimants will be informed by the prosecutors of these regions. The General Prosecutor’s Office controls execution of the orders.
