Order of the forming of hydrocarbons geological exploration programs has been approved in Uzbekistan

The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan by its regulation has approved the order of the forming of the geological exploration programs for the National holding company “Uzbekneftegas”. The regulation determines the order of development, agreement and approval of the long-term (5-15 years), mid-term (up to 5 years) and annual geological exploration for hydrocarbons.

According to the document, the geological exploration programs are worked out by Uzbekneftegas.

The long-term geological exploration program has a conceptual character and determines the main directions of the development of the geological sector based on the priority goals on the expansion of the hydrocarbons raw materials base of the republic taking into account the world market environment, progressive scientific and technical decisions in the sphere of geological study of the subsoil, search, production and processing of hydrocarbons raw materials, is said in the document.

The mid-term program will state the parameters and criteria determined in the directions of the long-term geological exploration program in conformity with the strategy of the perspective socio-economic development of Uzbekistan.
