In H1, RITEK discovered 4 new deposits and 8 new beds of hydrocarbons

In H1, Lukoil’s subsidiary RITEK has discovered 4 new deposits and 8 new beds of hydrocarbons in the Samara, Ulyanovsk and Volgograd regions, the CEO of RITEK, N. Nikolayev says. Within the period, RITEK increased oil production by 0.2% to 3.7 million tons. Associated oil gas utilization reached 83%.

RITEK continues the realization of the program for the testing and introduction of thermal gas impact at the Bazhenovsky suite and the water and gas impact for the enlargement of the layer's oil productivity. They arranged 2 sites at the Sredne-Nazymsky site in the Khanti-Mansi autonomous area for the testing of the facilities and thermal gas impact technology. Now they have obtained the results confirming theoretical basis of the technology and perspective of its further elaboration.
