The second group of wells is drilled at the Novoport field

Gazpromneft drills the second group of wells at the Novoport field (the Yamal region, the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District). The drilling of two horizontal wells have been completed at the second site and the third one is in the process.
An augmented complex of geophysical research was fulfilled at one well, it was prepared to hydrodynamic tests. Its potential daily yield exceeds 400 tons of oil in the mode of natural flowing.
Wells of the second pad are drilled for three layers, where, according to preliminary information, about 37% of the Novoport field’s reserves are located. The pilot operation of facilities in different regimes will enable to confirm industrial yields of the wells, - the news agency FederalPress reports.
