Tomsk Prosecutor’s Office has charged 15 million rubles for associated oil gas burning from oil companies

Tomsk Prosecutor’s Office has charged 15 million rubles from oil companies for the burning of associated oil gas instead of its effective use. The service revealed violations in Tomskneft JSC, TomskGazprom JSC, Archinskoye Ltd, Gazpromneft-Vostok Ltd, Tomsk Oil Ltd, Nord Imperial Ltd, Allianceneftegaz Ltd, Stimul-T Ltd, Matyushkinskaya Vertical Ltd and Southern-Okhteurskoye Ltd. These entities burnt associated oil gas in torches that led to contaminants emission into the atmosphere. The service initiated 46 cases by Article 7.3.2, “Subsoil use with violation of the admitted technical project’ and by Article 8.10.1 of Administrative Code. “Irrational subsoil use’.
