Armenia will buy 2 billion cubic m of gas from Iran

Armenia will buy 2 billion cubic m of gas in Iran, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources A. Movsisyan says. Discussion will be performed at the Armenian and Iran intergovernmental session planned for May. Last week the Iran ambassador in Armenia M. Reysi said that probably Iran could suggest new gas sales terms to Armenia. Earlier he stated that Iran could apply not-market approach to gas price supplied to the friendly countries including Armenia. The pipeline connecting these two states was built in 2007.
