SOCAR has announced its plans for investment in Turkey

By 2018, SOCAR is going to become the largest foreign investor in Turkey with the volume of investment of $17 billion, Today’s Zaman writes referring to the chief of SOCAR, R. Abdullayev. In his opinion, investment of SOCAR will strengthen relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey. He states that realization of such projects as Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline and the railway Baku-Tbilisi-Kars has developed the relations between the states to a level of strategic partnership.
