Gazprom to increase investment into projects in Amur region to 7 bln roubles in 2015

In 2015 Gazprom will increase the investment into the projects in the Amur region (a site of Power of Siberia and Amur gas processing plant) from 4.72 bln roubles in 2013-2014 to 7 bln roubles in 2015, the company reported on the results of a working meeting of A. Miller and the Governor of the Amur region, O. Kozhemyako.

The perspectives of the company’s participation in the development of social and sports infrastructure of the Amur region was discussed at the meeting.

Power of Siberia is a route gas pipeline for the transportation of natural gas of the Yakutia and Irkutsk centers of gas extraction to the Far East of Russia and China. The gas pipeline will go via the Irkutsk region, Yakutia (Sakha) and Amur region, in perspective will be connected with the gas transport system “Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok”.

Gazprom will construct a gas processing plant in the Amur region to separate valuable components from gas (helium and ethane).
