Gazprom finds money out of group – Gazprombank to be the first investor of its LNG-projects

Gazprom that intends to launch large LNG plants near the Baltic Sea and in Vladivostok, but limited by its investment program, has attracted Gazprombank to the LNG-projects. Bank can receive 25% in each of projects to the total amount of $15 billion; it will be organizer of project financing and will look for strategic partners. According to analysts, such scheme is connected with the fact that Gazprom hasn’t managed to come to an agreement on the joining of foreign companies to the projects, but any postponement of terms make the projects unattractive.
