Kozmino dispatches 50 million tons of oil to Eastern Siberia

The port of Kozmino situated on the territory of Nakhodka city district has dispatched 50 million tons of oil since December 28, 2009. The “anniversary” ton was dispatched to Forward Flair tanker on the night of February 19th/20th.

The tanker has become the 500th ocean giant loaded in Kozmino.

The destination of Forward Flair is Yeosu,the South Korean port, the tanker leaves Kozmino today.

So far in 2013, Kozmino transshipped about 3 million tons of oil. More than 40% was shipped to Japan, 24% - to China, 9% - to Philippines. Eastern Siberian oil was also delivered to Singapore, South Korea, the USA, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia. Totally, in 2013 Kozmino is going to export 21 million tons of oil, including 18 million tons via ESPO-2 and 3 million tons – by rail from Skovorodino station in the Amur Region.

The specialized oil-filling sea port Kozmino is situated at the final point of the ESPO – Nakhodka (Primorye). The capacity of the port made up 15 million tons of oil per year in the framework of the first line of ESPO. The second line was launched on December 25, 2012, thus oil transshipment can increase to 30 million tons per year.
