Novatek has presented substantiation of the request for 150 billion rubles to National Welfare Fund

Novatek has presented to the Ministry of Economic Development the portfolio of the documents for the substantiation of its request for 150 billion rubles to National Welfare Fund, the representative of the Ministry tells to RBC. The company asks for 150 billion rubles for realization of the Yamal LNG project. The final decision will be agreed after the analysis of the documents and their appraisal.

In September, the Minister of Finance, A. Siluanov said that Rosneft and Novatek that had fallen under the sanctions could get support from the money of National Welfare Fund this year. He stated that applications of the oil companies could be tried on standard terms within 60% of the money of the fund presupposed for investment.
