Novak: there are no reasons for the limitation of Russian oil export by the West

The Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak believes that currently there are no preconditions for the introduction of restrictions on Russian oil exports as are sanctions from the West.

"We studied this issue initially in principle, when the sanctions were imposed in spring. So at the moment, given that there are no such preconditions, since the oil market is fairly complex, and many refineries are designed for Russian oil, we believe that it is in basically impossible. It is impossible to limit the supply of oil by this method of embargo. This requires a lot of investments in re-equipment of the refineries, "- said Novak.
