Rosneft to treble capacity of Eastern Petroleum Company’s petrochemical complex
Rosneft’s Board of Directors has made a decision on the increase of processing capacity of the currently being implemented project of the Eastern Petroleum Company (VNKhK) from 10 to 30 million tons per year, the company reports.
Besides, the Board of Directors determined sites to place the Eastern Petroleum Company’s petrochemical complex within the infrastructure facilities in Padi Elizarov of the Partyzanski metropolitan district of the Primorsk region.
“The change of the VNKhK’s capacity makes up theplacement of three stages’ facilities at the site near the Pervostroitelei village in the Nakhodka city district impossible because of its insufficient area,” – Rosneft notes.
