Norilsk Nickel was issued a $1.2 bln loan by Sberbank

MMK Norilsk Nickel PJSC announces of the completion of the deal on the attraction of the unsecured loan from Sberbank for the total amount of $1.12 bln for 10 years. Sberbank is the organizer of the deal.

The deal is held in the framework of the financial strategy of the company and will allow to improve the debt portfolio of Norilsk Nickel by means of prolongation of the schedule of settlement of loans, and increase of the volume of confirmed credit lines as an additional source of stable financing in the mid-term perspective. Taking into account a new line, the total unutilized limit of confirmed long-term credit lines of MMK amounts to $1.9 bln now.

“The recent deals of the company on the attraction of financing confirm the trust of creditors to Norilsk Nickel which is explained by the stable financing position and conservative approach of the management to the structure of the group’s capital in the conditions of instability of prices in the metal market”, MMK said.
