The creation of a shipbuilding cluster in Primorye to be discussed in Vladivostok

A working meeting on the implementation of ship-building cluster creation project in the Far East took place in one of these days in Vladivostok under the leadership of I.Sechin, the head of OJSC “Oil Company “Rosneft”. They have discussed the operation of “the Far Eastern Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Center” and the creation of the unified center of order placing for design and construction of marine facilities on its base with Russian and foreign contractors.

As the press-service of the company states, Rosneft has a large scale programme on the realization of oil-and-gas projects at the Russian shelf in complex environment of the North and Far Eastern Seas. The company accepts obligations on the location of vessels and marine facilities’ manufacture in Russia, which are necessary for the realization of shelf projects. They have already started the work in this direction.
