The gelling agents are used at the Uzen field during repair works to increase the oil extraction.
“On the average, this method enabled to decrease the wells watercut by 13% and to receive the oil production growth in the amount of about 3.2 tons per day from 1 well,” – the Chief of KazNIPImunaigas Aigul Abitova noted, speaking at the regional alignment meeting on issues of the oil industry development that took place in Aktau.
