Russian company plans to conclude a contract with Pemex on geological exploration

A Russian enterprise for space geological exploration plans to sign a contract with the Mexican oil company Pemex for works on discovery of oil and other raw material reserves in the country, President of the Committee Mexico-Russia under the Mexican Business Council, Jose Karral reported.

"We are starting to meet with Pemex, with those who are interested in the development of new fields, these are land deposits throughout the country - in Chiapas, in northern Mexico, where there are a lot of places, where oil may be extracted," - said Karral.

According to him, the technology of space geological exploration, offered by Intellect Prospection System, provides a fairly accurate data on existing reserves of minerals, water or hydrocarbons. "Mexico hasn’t had a contract yet, but the company already works in Venezuela, and we hope to sign the agreement within the current reform of the power sector in Mexico," - Karral added.
