Oil production to go down in Siberia

The oil going to be pumped into the Zapolyarye-Purpe and Kuyumba-Taishet oil pipelines is down by 2-3 times. It poses a risk to the oil supply to China. What is more, investments into the development of Krasnoyarsk region can go down.

The sSpokesmen for “Rosneft” and Gazpromneft” named the adjusted figures on oil supply at the pre-election meeting with the acting governor of the Krasnoyarsk region, V.Tolokonsky on July 29th. In 2017 the companies will produce about 900 thousand tons of oil at the Yurubcheno-Tokhomsky and Kuyumbinskoye deposits instead of the planned 9.5 million tons; in 2018 – 2.8 million tons instead of 13.7 million tons; in 2023 – 9.1 million tons instead of 14.1 million tons.

In 2016-2018, the undercapacity of Kuyumba-Taishet pipeline may bring over 9 billion roubles of a loss to “Transneft”, while the short-received income will make up 43 billion roubles, Vedomosti writes. The payback time will increase from 20 to 29 years.
