Italy has approved the deal of Rosneft with Pirelli

The Antimonopoly Agency of Italy has approved the deal on the purchase by Rosneft’s structures of 50% in the capital of Camfin S.p.A. This holding holds 26.19% in Pirelli &C. S.p.A., Rosneft reports.
The official letter of the Agency says the deal will not lead to the foundation or the strengthening of the dominant position which will significantly reduce or eliminate competition.
This deal was closed on the account of the Pension Funds and financial institutions attracted on the principles of the project financing with the participation of Rosneft.
