SOCAR started the drilling of the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea

SOCAR (state-run company of Azerbaijan) started a drilling of a new well at a shallow-water part of the deposit “Gyuneshli” in the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea, is said in a statement by SOCAR. The drilling of the well is carried out from the platform “Gyuneshli-10” at a budgeted depth of 3100 meters. According to the calculations of the geologists, a daily rate of the well will make up 100 tons of oil.
