Schlumberger oil service base near Astrakhan to be put into operation in 2014

The largest Russian oil-service base Schlumberger at a cost of $40 million will be completed in the Astrakhan Region in 2014, the regional Ministry for Industry, Transport and Natural Resources reports.

“This has been reported by the representatives of the general contractor Energoproekt to the local Minister of Industry Sergey Krzhanovsky during the working meeting at the territory of the future complex. Currently the workers are dealing with pile sinking, breaking of the ground and making of fire-fighting water line. It is planned to fulfill the object in 2014”, is said in the report.
