Program of Tatarstan’s petrochemical complex development approved

The program of Tatarstan’s petrochemical complex development in 2015-2019 was considered and approved on Wednesday, June 17th, at the meeting of the Security Council of the republic. The event was held at the Kazan Kremlin with the participation of the Acting President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, the State Counsellor, Mintimer Shaimiev, the State Council Chairman, Farid Mukhametshin, permanent members of the Security Council, heads of Ministries and departments, territorial bodies of federal structures and enterprises of Tatarstan.

Opening the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov recalled that this was the fourth program for the development of the republic’s petrochemical sector, designed through till 2019. It was developed under the Strategy of socio-economic development of Tatarstan for the period of till 2030. "The Tatarstan's State Council approved the strategy, and this is our main working document for the next 15 years, - said the Acting President of the republic. –Oetrochemical complex and machinery were identified the main points of economic growth in the Strategy 2030",
