Heads of Kazakhstan and South Korea agree on uninterrupted implementation of three large projects

The Kazakh President, Nursultan Nazarbayev and President of South Korea, Park Keun Hye have agreed to implement projects on the construction of Balkhash thermal power plant, the gas-chemical complex in the Atyrau region and development of the Zhambyl deposit.

The head of South Korea is in Astana for a state visit.

"We agree with President Nazarbayev to continuously perform three major joint projects - construction of the Balkhash thermal power plant, gas-chemical complex in the Atyrau region and development of the Zhambyl deposit," - Park Keun Hye said during the joint statement.

Also, the President of Korea noted that the Presidents welcomed promotion of new projects on the extension of the production at the Tengiz deposit.
