Gazprom plans to cut investment into geological exploration to 80.4 bln roubles in 2016

Gazprom plans to cut the investment into geological exploration to 80.4 bln roubles in 2016, a member of the company’s Board, V. Cherepanov, said.

This is a bit higher than the investment reduction in 2015 but it will not influence on the growth of reserves, he said.

Mr. Cherepanov added that “Gazprom geological exploration” in 2016 invests 65.5 bln roubles into geological exploration, including 35.5 bln roubles in the shelf projects, 30 bln roubles in onshore projects.

Other affiliates of Gazprom that hold gas extraction invest 14.9 bln roubles.
