The Russian government refuses to allocate money on saving "Mechel".

In the near future the Government does not intend to provide the subsidies or other financial assistance to Igor Zyuzin’s holding, Alexei Ulyukayev, the Economic Development Minister, stated.

During the APEC forum, which takes place in China, Alexei Ulyukayev, the Economic Development Minister, answered the questions about possible aid to the "Mechel" group, which ended the year with $ 2.9 billion loss. The Minister stressed that the national budget will not allocate funds to rescue the company, but "Mechel" will be assisted.
