Exchange and wholesale prices of petrol decreased for the first time since the beginning of the year

According to the Information and Analytical Centre Kortes, exchange and wholesale prices of motor fuel declined in the past week. The downward movement was recorded for the first time since the beginning of the year. Prior to that, the prices constantly increased. However, experts believe that we can hardly expect a substantial reduction in the retail prices.

The wholesale price of A-92 fell by 290 rubles per ton of gasoline to 37.9 thousand rubles, the exchange one by 773 rubles (to almost 37.5 thousand rubles.). The A-95 prices also fell, but less: the wholesale one by 21 rubles (to almost 40.2 thousand rubles), the exchange price by 125 rubles (to 39.8 thousand rubles per ton). The decrease was recorded for the first time since the beginning of the year. Prior to this, the wholesale prices and the prices in the exchange segment showed the steady growth, increasing by 20% on the average, while the retail price grew by only 1%. Today the average price of AI-92 in Russia is 34.5 rubles per liter, and AI-95 - 37.3 rubles.
