The Russian authority hopes to avoid any gas transit conflicts with the Ukraine. A.Novak, Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation said.
“We presume that the situation will keep developing within a normal track,” he said.
Russian gas is supplied to Europe via the territory of the Ukraine. After the termination of the transit in January 2009, caused by the debts and illegal gas extraction, Russia activated an operation on a diversification of supplies to the European countries.
