The shipment of 3 mln. tons of Turkmen oil via Azerbaijan is in plans

Transit of Turkmen oil at 3 million tons via Azerbaijan through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline is planned in 2016.
As the source in SOCAR stated to Fineko/abc.az, the shipment will be carried out under the agreement between SOCAR Trading and Dragon Oil, which produces oil at the block of deposits Cheleken in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea.
