CherMK directed about 14.2 bln roubles for repair program
In 2015, 124 capital repairs of industrial units were held at the Cherepovets metallurgical plant (CherMK, in the structure of Severstal).
4 blast furnaces, main equipment of the steel making shop of CherMK, rolling mills 1700, 2800 and 5000 and other units were renewed.
Due to the application of modern methods of planning and new technological decision, the capital repair works were completed ahead the schedule. The repair of the energy equipment is held ahead the schedule.
A number of repair works is connected with the realization of investment projects. In the process of the capital repair of the mill-5000, the specialists of CherMK installed the cooling-down unit which will allow to increase the mill’s efficiency and reduce the temporary expenditure on reaching the necessary temperature of rolling.
