Boguchansk aluminium plant planned to be loaded by 50% in 2016

Rusal plans to start the Boguchansk aluminium plant in the Krasnoyarsk region in 2016, the CEO V. Soloviev said.
The Boguchansk aluminium plant is working. It is loaded by a quarter now. Its capacity is 600 thousand tons – 4 stages of 148 thousand tons each. The first 148 thousand tons already produce metal, it was launched in Q4 2015. The rest parts will be launched quicker as there is preparatory production, energy complex. I think we will produce 300 thousand tons in H2 2016, he said.
We hope that the Boguchansk aluminium plant will be officially launched in 2016, Mr. Soloviev said. The plant will meet the best world standards.
