The Ukraine has paid off a half of gas debt for 2013

Naftogaz Ukraine paid off to Gazprom $1.28 billion for gas supplied in 2013. Kiev also transferred $191 million for gas bought in January. They report about that in the prospectus of the Ukrainian eurobonds issued on February 17.
Gazprom confirms paying off of a half of the debt for 2013 by the Ukraine. The debt was $2.63 billion for 2013, and $658 million for January 2014. Naftogaz Ukraine does not have funds for paying of the debt, by February 17th the heat production companies were liable $2.7 billion to Naftogaz Ukraine.
The Ministry of Regions of the Ukraine reported that the budget has only $771 million for the paying of the debt to Naftogaz Ukraine by the municipal enterprises.
